Bell comes from a high-gravity world and is built consequently, although her own people would consider her rather on the light side. She is small, of heavy built, with a dense bone structure and strong musculature which, in a 1G environment, give her a very athletic and energic look. She's covered from head to toe with a very thin fur. Still, she looks strikingly human and is usually found good looking.


General description:

Curious of everything and everyone, focuses sometimes so much on the subject at hand she forgets everything else. Her manners lack subtlety and the usual polish, who are just not part of social life on Poldar.


History:

Gertrud (nickname Trudy) is the transcription of her real name, found hard to pronounce by most people. Bell comes from one of the less well known Federation worlds and a high-gravity environment. Born in a family of artists dedicated to the local religion, she was the only child. She has very little artistic talent herself, although her voice, rating as average on Poldar where singing is one of the major Arts, could have secured her a successful career in several parts of the Federation. Her interest for minerals and geology led her to Science studies, then to outer worlds, her natural curiosity doing the rest. Bell is one of a total 17 Poldarians to have done so and the only scientist.


Miscellaneous:

What Poldarians considers "brushing past someone" can mean a few bruises and sore toes to less heavy and strong humanoids. It is thus best to avoid being on her way.
